Alice joined the Changing Markets Foundation in 2017 and leads campaigns on nutrition, food fortification and plastics. Before joining Changing Markets, Alice worked at Bond, the network for international development organisations, where she led a programme of work to increase public engagement with global poverty and convened a large UK coalition to mobilise the public at key moments during the post-2015 process. She also set up a coalition to defend aid in the face of increasing attacks in the British media.
An expert in campaigning and influencing, across her career Alice has worked on issues ranging from the sustainable development goals and the effectiveness of aid, to gender equality and electoral reform. She also worked for an MP in a marginal seat during an election year and has spent a significant amount of time living and working in the north of Ghana, plus a year working in China.
Alice is passionate about activism and equality. She studied History at the University of Durham and holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies and Gender from the University of Leeds. When not working, Alice enjoys cooking, yoga, and spending time with her family.
