Rachel joined the Changing Markets team in February 2017, and has worked across campaigns on nutrition, circular economy, antimicrobial resistance and fashion. Prior to Changing Markets she worked in the PR and Advocacy Team at Girlguiding, a UK-based charity for girls and young women, leading the press strategy for campaigns to make Sex and Relationships Education (SRE) compulsory in schools, abolish VAT on sanitary products for women and raise awareness of youth mental health issues.
Before this, Rachel worked as a Researcher for The Week magazine, a current affairs weekly digest. She holds a first class degree in History from the University of Manchester and a postgrad NCTJ qualification in Journalism. Born and raised in London, Rachel currently lives in Scotland, and enjoys swimming, hiking and yoga in her spare time.
